Marty Palecki is a founding partner of Lead with Legacy, a business consulting and coaching firm. Ms. Palecki has comprehensive senior management experience in all aspects of Human Resources consulting, change management, resource development and strategic planning. Her versatile background of 25+ years in Human Resources is inclusive of non-profit healthcare, rapid growth high technology start-ups, corporate turnarounds, and merger and acquisitions activity. Her employers ranged from family ownership to Fortune 500 companies.
Marty’s work is currently devoted to personal development and business consulting. She spends a significant portion of her time working with senior leaders who face critical business issues in cultural change, leadership alignment, and continued growth. Her work is focused on strategic intention, visionary leadership, communication and leadership development.
Marty guides individuals and organizations in discovering better ways of working together. Her clients leverage people’s strengths and develop collective wisdom. With her guidance they reduce waste of their essential resources of people, talent, time and money.
Ms. Palecki offers years of practical corporate experience and knowledge of today’s business requirements. Her client list includes small, family-owned businesses, and extends to mid-size businesses and publicly-traded entities. These organizations include the medical, manufacturing, services, and retail sectors.
Ms. Palecki studied Psychology and Sociology at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources Management. In addition, she has conducted courses in Strategic Consulting and Coaching (in the Human Resource Leadership program) and Effective Management Principles at the UCSD Extension. Marty taught the PHR & SPHR Certification Course in North San Diego County. She has presented on topics of strategic leadership and leadership development to audiences of the San Diego Society for Human Resources Management, HR Connect, North County Personnel Association and National Human Resources Association.
Currently, Ms. Palecki is an Advisory Board member and Mentor in Big Brothers and Sisters of Southwest, CO; a graduate of Leadership La Plata, class of 2009 – 2010 and a member of Leadership LaPlata Steering Committee.
